From Pest to Producer!

Turn unwanted honeybee hives at your home or business into pollinators for your garden or producers of healthy honey.

Feral honeybee relocation.

Don't Exterminate, Relocate!

Honeybees have been disappearing worldwide at an alarming rate (a phenomenon known as Colony Collapse Disorder). If bees continue to disappear, the public will soon be directly impacted. Honeybees nurture one third of human food sources. Simply put, the sustainability of healthy honeybees is crucial to life. These concerns are what led to the vision of Backyard Bees. We're changing the perception of the feral honeybee from “pest” to producer by providing an alternative to pesticide extermination through removal and relocation (rescue).

After rescue from unwanted places (under sheds, attics, walls, et cetera), we place the little guys in hive boxes and then relocate them to small local apiaries, gardens, orchards and farms where they can get back to work—pollinating.

Backyard Bees will also locate and maintain hives for the purpose of small crop or backyard garden pollination and honey production.

That said, how may we help you today?

Here's How it Works—Without Extermination

  • You call Backyard Bees.
  • We come over to your home or business and assess.
  • We remove/rescue the feral honeybees.
  • We relocate them within new digs.
  • Honey is extracted from the hives.
